Over 40 years of collective classroom experience, workshops, and consulting with special education students and parents have culminated into pouring our passion into our “10 Critical Components for Success in the Special Education Classroom” workshops and books. Classroom use of the components sets the stage for each student to achieve, increase positive behaviors, establish effective communication with parents, and enhance teacher effectiveness for all students.
While there are no two classrooms that look alike, no two teachers who teach exactly the same, and no two students whose special needs are identical, these 10 components work to create a structure for success. Browse our website and get a glimpse into each component on the lefthand menu. Please contact us if you would like to host a workshop!
I have known and worked professionally with Nannette Samson and Marcia Rohrer for the last 10 years. Together they bring extensive expertise and knowledge about the field of autism and other developmental delays to educators and parents. They consult with school districts by sharing their knowledge and experience through classroom engineering assistance, trainings on the importance of visual aids, parent training evaluations and recommendations, and just about anything related to providing the most positive learning environments for students with special needs.- Shari Prouhet, Special Educator
